Outdoor Sound Is a Different Problem
Indoor audio and outdoor audio are not the same challenge. Outside, you lose the room — there’s no ceiling, no walls to contain or reinforce sound. Wind, ground reflections and distance all work against you. A system that sounds powerful indoors can sound thin and scattered outdoors at the same scale.
We’ve built and operated outdoor systems for everything from field events to community festivals. We understand how to configure for real outdoor coverage without compromising on SPL or low-end impact.
Specs at a Glance
Key figures for your technical advance or site plan.
| Output | Festival-scale modular PA. Current rig: 6× bass bins (two rows of three) + stacked kick and mid tier + horn-loaded tops. Scales up for headline-stage audiences. |
| Coverage | 80° × 60° constant directivity. Phase-coherent, horn-loaded, point-source. Smooth across the audience — no beaming, no hotspots, no abrupt directivity shifts. Tuned on site. |
| Components | Paraflex C2E Elf subs (21″ Lavoce 215.30, 20–90 Hz) · Cubo 15 kick (18Sound 15ND930, 90–200 Hz) · C3D mid tops (12″ Hoqs N123 Neo, 200–800 Hz) · ME464 horns with coaxial DCX464 compression drivers (800 Hz – 20 kHz+, 1.4″ throat). |
| Stage monitoring | Dedicated wedge monitors routed independently from FOH — for DJ booth, live stage, or back-to-back sets. |
| Power requirements | Confirmed on technical advance. 3-phase supply strongly recommended for full festival deployments; single-phase viable on smaller configurations. |
| Setup time | Site-dependent. Full festival rig and crew typically loads in over 4–6 hours. |
| Delivery area | Ireland-wide. Contact us with your venue details for site-specific delivery and logistics. |
